The objective of the project was to develop international technology strategy for the new product applications endorsed by board of directors of the MIP Electronics Ltd. The purpose of the assignment was also to analyse market potential of different product applications relevant to MIP Electronics Ltd opacity measurement technology developed for stack emission monitoring. The consultancy assignment included the following services:

• Technology Assessment for new product applications
• Assessment of technical barriers of trade in the
selected target countries
• Assessment of demand in target countries
• Assessment of substitute products
• Feasibility of opacity monitoring technology for new
business applications
• Assessment of purchasing criteria in selected
customer segments
• Development of technology strategy for the selected
product application based on TEKES guidelines
• Product, pricing, promotion and distribution strategies
